Brass Templates from Lasting Impressions and Rubber Stamping.

About Me

My photo
Hi. I'm Donna and the owner of a business called Luv2Emboss. I've been crafting since the moment I could color with a crayon without eating it first! I have been embossing with Lasting Impressions' Brass Templates for 20 years and I am on their Design Team. I also love to craft with rubber stamps and I sell Lawn Fawn products. I hope the cards and projects I display will perk your interest to try a new craft or play with an old one! Enjoy. :-)

Mother's Day is approaching!

Gosh, Mother's Day is right around the corner. I have two really neat, inspirational craft buddies (mother/daughter Nettie & Kathy) to blame for my current addiction to crafting with coasters! Here's an idea from them and it would make a great Mother's Day gift. I really enjoyed creating this one with Lasting Impressions' templates! Coasters anyone? :-)

Happy Easter!

Yesterday I taught a "Never-Ending-Card" class. If you have never done one, you must but, let me warn you it is very time consuming. Each page flips to the next page until you have completed all four pages and then it begins all over again. Consequently, the card really never "ends." This one is for Mother's Day and it is completely embossed until you flip to the last page and there's a stamped Hedgehog relaxing and enjoying his day, in the middle of the card. Take a peek and then go color some eggs ... I'm off to do just that. Happy Easter. :-)

Card Designs from Lasting Impressions

These are new card designs from Lasting Impressions. You can see them, more fully, by going directly to the Idea Gallery on their web site.

Happy Monday!

Today I hit my first stampin' frustration! I used a borrowed stamp to make this Love Quilt Card and while it was pretty, it was not easy. There was a lot of small detail. Take a look and you'll see what I mean!

The bunny is coming!

Easter is next weekend and I am rushing around trying to complete my Easter Cards and prepare for my next embossing class (the day before Easter). Here's a "peek" at one of my Easter Cards and a look at a second one which was inspired by my good friend, and fellow embosser, Nettie. She comes up with the best card designs! And lastly, a stamped Bunny that was just too cute to pass up! Enjoy.

Today's Giggle!

Here's a sample of a stamp I used from Whipper Snapper. It really made me giggle. I hope it puts a smile on your face too!

Hip-hippo Hooray!

I just got this adorable card from my Aussie Buddy Julie. I had surprised her with this Sizzix Hippo Die and in return she made me a Hip-hippo Horray card using a product called Action Wobbles. You mount the "wobble" behind the hippo body and she now wobbles and/or shakes. Isn't she cute?

Forgive Me!

I've been traveling and finally home! Whew. Here's a quick card I managed to do "on the road" and it's the first time I've used Sugar Blossom Cardstock from L.I. I really like how this card turned out. I hope you do too and forgive me for being so behind! :-)
