Brass Templates from Lasting Impressions and Rubber Stamping.

About Me

My photo
Hi. I'm Donna and the owner of a business called Luv2Emboss. I've been crafting since the moment I could color with a crayon without eating it first! I have been embossing with Lasting Impressions' Brass Templates for 20 years and I am on their Design Team. I also love to craft with rubber stamps and I sell Lawn Fawn products. I hope the cards and projects I display will perk your interest to try a new craft or play with an old one! Enjoy. :-)

THE BLAHHHHHHHS!

Donna's tamped card using Art Impression's Stamp.

I am having a blahhhhhhh moment ... well, maybe two or three but, who's counting!  Most mornings I ask Dick, "Well what shall we do today?"  And you know what?  The answer is always the same ... "The same thing as yesterday."  😀  It is hard to be motivated during this pandemic but, you pick yourself up by the boot straps (I'm wearing sandals), and go make something!  Yesterday it was banana bread!  I bet you thought I would say, "make a card," right? Wrong!  I really like my banana bread and I thought I would share the recipe with you because it goes so well with that "first cup of coffee."    I'm unsure where I got this recipe but, I think it's the best.  I hope you will try it.  And, if you don't like bananas (who doesn't?), then go make a card!  Happy embossing, :-)  Donna.

DONNA'S BANANA BREAD

1 cube soft butter blended with 1 1/2 cups sugar.  Add 2 eggs, 1 t. vanilla, 1 t. baking soda, 1/4 t. salt, 1/2 cup buttermilk, and 3 or 4 ripe mashed bananas.  Mix well and add 2 cups of flour and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.  Pour into greased loaf pan or I like to do mine in a bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.  Enjoy.
