Brass Templates from Lasting Impressions and Rubber Stamping.

About Me

My photo
Hi. I'm Donna and the owner of a business called Luv2Emboss. I've been crafting since the moment I could color with a crayon without eating it first! I have been embossing with Lasting Impressions' Brass Templates for 20 years and I am on their Design Team. I also love to craft with rubber stamps and I sell Lawn Fawn products. I hope the cards and projects I display will perk your interest to try a new craft or play with an old one! Enjoy. :-)

Step Cards!

I love making "Step Cards" and they can be a bit tricky but so fun to make ... and receive! Here's a great one I just got from one of my closest buddies who loves embossing as much as I do! I taught her how to make a Step Card and she has created some of the best designs, using this technique, that I've ever seen. Take a peek at this one. Just adorable. Thank you Jan!

Christmas is coming, oh no!

As I mentioned in previous post, fall/winter is coming and Christmas will soon be here. I belong to a group of embossers (The Bossy Group) and each month we have a host who chooses a template and sends embossed pieces of same to members to create their own card. Here's November's sample from a wonderfully talented friend of mine, Nettie. Her card is gorgeous and I can't wait to get my "pieces."

A Happy Autumn Monday ... In San Diego!

OMG but we've had such strange weather this year. I think Autumn/Winter is finally upon us and I got the nicest birthday card from my Canadian Buddy, Cin. Take a peek at her card done with embossed pumpkins, Cuttlebug's Autumn Embossing Folder and just the right orange check ribbon to complete the card. It's a keeper!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Well, today is my 65th birthday. Oh my ... that does sound old. I'm one of those that celebrates each and every birthday the whole October month long! Hurrah. LOL I've received some wonderful craft gifts already and here's just a peek at a few embossing ones. The Cake Mix Project was made by Heidi and includes a card, the cake mix, frosting and sprinkles to decorate the cake! Barbara sent me the darling card with a group of goodies; my Aussie buddy Julie sent me the shirt a while back and now some Cottage Cutz Dies; and my little Canadian buddy Cin sent me the Fall Door Hanger. Nettie sent me the Carmel Apple Kit shown below. I'm a lucky girl. Thank you, my wonderful craft girlfriends. You are the best. :-)

Corn-fused anyone?

OMG, my youngest daughter just turned 40 (ouch) and I made this card for her. The outside says, "I'm corn-fused" and the inside reads, "You can't be 40 ... I'm only 29!" I've had this corn template from Lasting Impressions for quite a while and this was the perfect time to use it. I'm always "corn-fused" so I think I shall get a lot of use out of the simple design.

Candy Apples for Halloween Anyone?

Today I received the cutest gift from my embossing buddy Nettie! This girl is so talented and she comes up with some really clever ideas. Take a look at her Candy Apple "kit" using L.I. Template #L9407 while I go make some apples. Yum.
