Donna's L.I. Summer Camp 2021 "Home" card.

Good morning crafting friends. Have any of you visited Summer Camp 2021 at Lasting Impressions? Well the first week of videos ended last week, but the videos are still up on their web site so go visit! :-)
My crafting friend Karie and I have had fun putting together our "versions" of the ideas created for this year's Summer Camp. Here are a couple of my cards created with Kit #1, "Let's Celebrate."

This next card is LI Cut Outs Pear. I inked this image to make it pop and I like the results. I use Glossy Accents a lot on these cards to make the flowers shine and then I curl the petals and/or leaves:

Next might very well be one of my favorite Cut Outs! This giraffe is so adorable. Once again I distressed the images using Tim Holtz' Ink and I thought LI was very clever in using the paper clip to hold the banner. See for yourself!

This next card is a Tri-Fold. First you see the Giraffe's head and then as you open the card, the complete body is revealed! Once again, the giraffe is adorable and while LI's idea was a baby card, I made mine as a birthday card. I used distress inks and I think for those of you making the now very popular Slimline Cards, the full body image would work perfectly. I'm going to try it. :-)

Next is my last card from this Kit. He's an adorable LI Cut Outs Elephant. There are lots of sentiments you could use with this image and I chose a "just for you" for my little Elephant. Notice the cute tail ... an inspiration from Karie (LI embroidery floss)!

As always, WONDERFUL cards. Thank you for sharing your inspirations with us. I love the tall giraffe…well, I love all of them but he is especially adorable.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan. LI took my advice and uploaded the products from Week 1 and you can purchase that giraffe! LOL I did enjoy this release and I hope to do the "Christmas in July" Week 2 for my July classes. I can't wait. :-)
