About Me

Hi. I'm Donna and the owner of a business called Luv2Emboss. I've been crafting since the moment I could color with a crayon without eating it first! I have been embossing with Lasting Impressions' Brass Templates for 20 years and I am on their Design Team. I also love to craft with rubber stamps and I sell Lawn Fawn products. I hope the cards and projects I display will perk your interest to try a new craft or play with an old one! Enjoy. :-)

ARE YOU FREEZIN' YET?

Donna's Christmas Trees from "Season for Freezin" class.

Happy Sunday everyone.  Are you going to watch LI's next class videos on Monday?  I actually couldn't wait after LI announced a delay and I made my own version (above) of "Farm Fresh Christmas Trees."  I love how it turned out.  Now, if making that card only helped with our San Diego weather because we are a long way from "freezin."  This week we reached an all time high I think of 104.  Ouch ... trust me, it was hot and the A/C was on!  :-)

So, as I wait for Monday's class, I got busy and made some Halloween Cards.  I hope these will inspire you!  Happy Embossing, :-)  Donna.

Donna's RIP Ghost using LI Templates #L9525, #L1017 & #L9422.
I used Vellum for the Ghost and Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Donna's Trick or Treat Bag Die from Lawn Fawn and LI Templates #L9674
& #L9419 along with Colored Impressions' Software for the sentiment.  I also used
Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

Donna's Happy Halloween Shaker using LI Template #L9154
and Colored Impressions' Software for the sentiment

Donna's Itsy Bitsy Spider using LI Template #L9723 and Colored Impressions'

Donna's spooky Slim Card using LI Templates #L9267, #L9153 & #S419.

Inks long with Slim Card Dies.

Donna's Step Card using LI Templates #L9721 & #L9421.  I also used
Colored Impressions' Software for the sentiment, Tim Holtz Distress
Inks along with a Step Card Die.

    1. Thank you Barbara! I really enjoyed the Step Card. I'm not sure if I had used that Spell Template before! I copied the colors of it from the software! :-)

  2. OK well, now I have to go back to the drawing board with some of my Halloween ideas. These are just great!! Although step cards have really interested me lately, I have to say that the lampost and the slim cards are my favorites!! I can't pick just one. So many elements and techniques and so spoooky!! But I can't believe you cut out the legs of the leggy spider, all of those little knees and feet!! So inpiring!!
