HAPPY 4TH OF JULY


Happy 4th of July everyone.  It will certainly be a different one this year.  We are usually in Texas celebrating with family on the LBJ Lake in Kingsland.  Instead, we will be sitting at home, in our patio, watching the fireworks in the distance!  I told Dick I would light a candle, we will watch while having hot chocolate, and then blow the candle out at the end of the display!  Woo-hoo.  That will be our celebration.  :-)  Here are some wonderful 4th of July cards made by the design team that might inspire you for next year's celebration!

Last, but certainly not least, here are some very fun ideas from the baby embosser on our team, Karie.  It has been such fun to watch her grow in this craft and if you haven't yet noticed, she loves the gnome template which was a special template released just for the Emboss-a-Lot Classes last year.  Karie makes good use of him!  :-)

Karie's Tri-Fold.  Keep in mind, the front is the Firework's photo above.  When you open her card, you see "Uncle Sam" at the top, then the heart in the middle and the last one with the fireworks and star.  That last one flops down and you see this sentiment:

    Love all the American cards. I am a bit jealous about not having Karie's gnome template. He is just a bit cute isn't he!

    Hi again Julie. Yep, I think it's a shame LI didn't make that gnome available because gnomes, for whatever reason (ha, ha), are very popular. Karie loves that little guy. As always, thanks for your comments. XO
